The Spirit of God is Always With Us

Who is the Holy Spirit? This is such a common question that is asked when it comes to fully understanding The Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the most mysterious (and sometimes confusing) within the triad. Before Jesus went back to Heaven, He said “I am sending the Spirit who is better than me.” Better than Jesus? That doesn’t sound right. But it is. The Holy Spirit is not a force or power used by God. He is a person who has responsibilities and characteristics that help guide us through life. And Jesus knew we needed Him. 

Candace and Tara-Leigh sit down and dive into the mystery of The Holy Spirit in hopes of helping us understand who He is and how He works in us. They also share personal stories from their faith journey; and Candace talks about the time her husband baptized her in the ocean (grab your tissues! It’s a beautiful story).

This is how we know that we love God’s children; when we love God and obey His commands. For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. And his commands are not a burden, because everyone who has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith.
