SHOWNOTES
God is a GOOD Father who is never disappointed in you!
He is grieved by our sins, but never disappointed. Because to be disappointed, He has to be let down by an unmet expectation, and He has no expectations of us. When we sin, God does not run from us, He runs to us and dwells with us. The whole point of the Bible is God’s love story to us and His goodness + kindness are reflected all throughout it. And He funnels who He is through The Trinity.
In this episode of the podcast, Candace and Tara-Leigh Cobble continue their discussion about:
- The fear of God and how it consists of delight and awe – it draws us to Him, not from Him.
- Why it is important to draw closer to God in seasons of trial AND abundance.
- How God's kindness and attention to detail reflects just how GOOD of a Father He is.
Scripture Memory of the Season:
1 John 5:1-2 (CSB) Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him. This is how we know that we love God’s children; when we love God and obey His commands.
